This activity is totally instructional and begins teaching children in grades 1 and 2 the fundamentals of basketball through games, activities, competitions, and simple drills. All aspects of the game are scaled down to their level including a smaller ball and 8 foot baskets. Participants need to bring a 27.5 inch ball with them each week. Sessions will run Saturday mornings at Washington Primary School.

This activity is instructional and begins to expand on the fundamentals and skills needed to play the game of basketball.  A 27.5 in ball is used as well as 8 foot baskets so players have a positive experience.  More game aspects will be added along with constant work on individual player development as we prepare to enjoy the game as they grow. Players interested in playing on the grade 3/4 travel team should also sign up for these clinics. Sessions will be Saturday mornings at Washington Primary School.
